Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Newberg, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The Project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment and supervision for the construction and completion of approximately 3,000 linear feet of 12-inch, 300 linear feet of 6-inch and 50 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main in S River Street between E Fourth Street and E Twelfth Street. Work includes installation of 9 new fire hydrants and appurtenances; 52 new service lines; cross connections, valves, tees and associated appurtenances; trench restoration, striping, sidewalk and driveway restoration; an ADA compliant curb ramp and landscape restoration as shown on the construction plans. The anticipated cost to construct the Project is between $1.3M and $1.6M. The contract awarded under this invitation to bid is subject to the payment of current BOLI prevailing wages for Region 3 under ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Bidders must be prequalified to perform work in the following classes: : waterline construction, asphalt concrete paving and oiling, pavement markings, miscellaneous roadway facilities, landscaping, and temporary traffic control along with any subcontractors performing these work items. Applications for prequalification must be filed at Engineering@newbergoregon.gov no later than May 2, 2022 at 2:00 pm local time. No prebid meeting is scheduled for this project. All bidders shall submit their last questions through the same bid management website no later than 2:00 PM on May 2, 2022 so that a Bid Addendum may be issued if needed without altering the bid date. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
