The Proponent is to include the following work that represents a base Proposal: Earthworks, civil utilities, road works, and third-party utility works associated with the proposed subdivision on Poplar Drive including 11 single family lots, 10 duplex units, and 1 municipal park site. The Owner is seeking to engage a general contractor to complete the Ironstone Ridge Subdivision- Phase 3C Project. All works will be done in accordance with MMCD and supplemental specifications outlined in the enclosed sample agreement. The completion of the following work is expected (approximate quantities): Approximately 160 meters of 200O DR18 C900 PVC watermain Approximately 160 meters of 200O DR35 PVC sanitary sewer main Approximately 160 meters of 250-300O DR35 PVC stormwater main Water, sanitary, and storm services to 11 single family lots, 10 duplex units, and 1 municipal park site Approximately 1,600 m2 of asphalt road including gravels, curb, and gutter Street lighting and shallow utility ducting; and Approximately 9,500 m3 of earthworks including onsite cut to fill, imported fill (from future Phase), and hauling and disposal of stockpiled topsoil. Note that third-party utility civil works is considered Optional Works at this time as designs are in progress by BC Hydro and Telus. Unit rates are requested in this NRFP and will be added to the scope of work once third-party utility designs are finalized. The proponent is asked to include an allowance for shallow utility installation in their construction schedule. Note that pipe has been pre-ordered from ICONIX Waterworks in Kamloops, BC. The proponent is responsible for procurement of pipe and is required to procure from ICONIX to fulfill this pre-order.
