Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Norwell, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Perform Site Grading and Base Preparation for Installation of 20 Ft. by 30 Ft. Concrete Paver Patio, Approach Walkway, and Decorative Stone Border. Install Natural Boulder Dressing along slope utilizing onsite materials. Provide buried drainage for two existing Building Downspouts. Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with M.G.L. c. 149, or M.G.L c. 30 section 39 M, and all other applicable laws. Bids are subject to prevailing wage rates as required by M.G.L. c. 149, Sections 26 to 27H inclusive. The Town of Norwell is a MA sales tax exempt town government. As such quotes should not include any sales tax on materials. MA Dept. of Revenue forms ST-5C and ST-2 for the town will be provided. Project Begin Date: Within ten calendar days of receipt of Notice to Proceed. (anticipated May 2022) Required Completion Date: No later than 45 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. If the contract amount is over $25K, the successful bidder must supply a 50% payment bond. The Town of Norwell reserves the right to waive any informality, to cancel this solicitation for quotes, and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
