Renovation of a mixed-use development in Decatur, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and service station / car wash facility.
Decatur Public Building Commission will receive sealed bids for an offer to relocate a fuel dispenser at the Macon County Highway Department, located at "2405' North Woodford Street, Decatur, IL 62526. A single stipulated sum bid will be received for ALL work. Bids will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. The owner reserves the right: to waive any informality in the bids received, to determine the lowest responsible bidder or reject any or all bids. Bidder will be required to provide Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond executed by bidder as principal, and having as surety thereon a surety company acceptable to the owner in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing under the contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS130/1-12). Minority and Female Business Subcontractor/Supplier participation is encouraged.
