Renovation of a transportation facility in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority ("LNAA") is soliciting responses from qualified Bidders that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit proposals to provide replacement of firehouse vehicle bay doors to the LNAA. Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 3, 2022, via website. LNAA will respond to questions via www.PennBid.netin a timely manner. The Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, re-advertise or award the contract in a manner determined solely by the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority to be in its best interest. All proposals shall remain valid for a minimum of 120 days. The successful contractor shall furnish/supply four (4) vehicle bay doors that meet or exceed the specifications set forth in the FAA Advisory Circular 150/5210-15A (outlined below) and are suitable for the weather conditions at the Lehigh Valley International Airport The successful Contractor shall perform all the work necessary to remove and dispose of the existing doors and install the new doors, including cosmetic finishes. The LNAA is planning to replace the four (4) doors located on the front of the firehouse during one phase OR two phases. If the LNAA decides on the onephase option, all four (4) doors will be replaced in 2022. If the LNAA decides on the two-phase option, two (2) center doors will be replaced in 2022 and two (2) outside doors will be replaced in 2023.
