Contractor shall provide bio-hazardous clean-up and disposal services not limited to water, smoke, sewage, mold, trauma, and pharmaceutical or recreational drugs on an as-needed basis in the amount, type and manner described in the quotation given to the County. The County may require for hazardous waste remediation services to occur at various owned and leased facilities throughout the County, secure facilities, or roadside to remediate various spills, incidents, or otherwise. Contractor shall have the capability to perform remediation and disposal services on oils, paints, chemicals, known and unknown substances, removal of containers filled with products it may leaking, clean up of drug labs and/or paraphernalia, and hazardous materials categorization. Contractor will be expected to provide manifests and other regulatory and disposal documents relating to contracted work as required. Contractor will be expected to cleanup and dispose of materials associated with homeless camps including human waste. Contractor will be expected to have the capability to remediate biological hazard mitigation and remediation services for materials, medical supplies such as hypodermic needles, blood and other body fluid soiled materials. Deadline for Questions: May 16, 2022 Contractor shall have 24/hr. number to dispatch for response with two hours, or as soon as possible pending calls ahead of those of the County's. Service for Sheriff includes Sacramento County Main Jail at 651 I Street, Sacramento, Ca 95814 and RCCC (Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center) at 12500 Bruceville Rd, Elk Grove, Ca 95757. Services within jails will require drivers/technicians to have background clearance per state law. Clearance requests must include a valid Driver's License number, Date of Birth, Social Security Number, and address. Employees will be escorted while in the facility for their own safety and the security of the facility. Equipment such as fans, tools, or cleaning supplies must be completely removed at the completion of service. Chemicals must be OSHA approved for human safety. Disposal of materials, hazardous wastes must be taken by vendor and disposed of per state requirements. Waste will not be left at facility. Cleaning requests will be for bodily fluids, blood, feces, urine, or COVID exposure in cells, holding tanks, booking areas, vehicles, or any other areas. Callers will provide as much information as needed regarding type of hazard and size of area. Invoices will be paid by each respective facility, per incident.
