This work will be performed at launch facilities in the 10th, 12th, and 490th Missile Squadron complexes. Work will consist of complete excavation for new conductor and preparing the foundation for the cast-in-place concrete block at each LF, new grounding points and abandoning of the old grounding point, installing new cable, backfill/compaction of trench, and perform resistance testing of new cable and ground points. The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, supervision, services, and materials to execute and satisfy the requirements of this contract. SUMMARY OF WORK FOR PROJECT NZAS 22-6001 A. The Base Year planned work will be performed at Launch Facilities (LF) C-08, E-07, F03, H-07, and N-04. Planned work for LF sites in Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, and Year 4 will include additional sites to be identified later by the Government. Base Year, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4 sites to include all work to complete excavation for new conductor and preparing the foundation for the cast-in-place concrete block at each LF. Work includes a new grounding point and makes the old grounding point unusable. Work also includes installing new cable, backfill/compaction of trench, and perform Resistance testing of new cable and ground points. The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, supervision, services, and materials to execute and satisfy the requirements of this Contract. B. Whenever brand names of products are listed throughout this Specification it shall be implied that the brand specified or approved equal may be used. C. Recycling Initiative: The Contractor shall provide recycled products specified in this Section to the extent obtainable IAW the provisions of Executive Order 13101 and the requirements specified in Section 013600. If conflicts exist between the products specified in this Section and the recycled product, the Contractor shall provide a recycled product that most nearly matches the salient features of the specified product. D. Contractor is responsible for coordination between all specification sections and drawings. If any conflicts are found during review or construction, contact the Contracting Officer immediately. E. The Government will determine where and how the trench will be routed to tie into the site grounding grid system.
