Site work and paving for a civil project in Newton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of July 7, 2022, project was awarded to PJ Keating, awarded amount is $698,112.15. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. In accordance with MGL c. 30 section 39m, it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain the services of a construction firm for the purposes of the reconstruction of the Grove Street and Washington Street Intersection and construction of approximately 500 feet of shared-use path along the west side of Grove Street in the Town of Franklin. The work to be performed will include the installation of new traffic signal equipment, pavement milling and overlay, full depth pavement widening, hot mix asphalt shared-use path, concrete sidewalks, concrete pedestrian ramps, new striping, signing, drainage improvements, a stormwater infiltration basin and other incidental work as required. Work under this Contract shall be paid for at the contract unit bid prices, which shall constitute full compensation for all material, labor, equipment, etc., required to satisfactorily complete the work.
