The Successful Bidder shall be prohibited from discriminating against any individual due to his race, creed, color, national origin, age or sex. The City is a recipient of federal and state grant funds.
The City may waive any informalities or minor irregularities and shall have the right to reject any single Bid or all Bids submitted.

GENERAL INFORMATION
1. Bidder shall furnish all work to be provided pursuant to this bid in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations.
2. Bidder shall have the capability and capacity in all respects to fulfill the product and order requirements to the satisfaction of the City.
3. Bidder shall provide full firm name and address. Failure to manually sign the bid may disqualify it. Firm name and authorized signature must appear in the space provided on the enclosed Signature Sheet.
4. The City will not pay any costs incurred in the bid preparation, printing or demonstration process. All costs shall be borne by the Bidder.
5. Expected Quantities stated herein are estimates based on past use. No guarantee is made that this quantity will be purchased.
Estimated:
Water/Sewer Taps 20
Manhole Repairs 20
Culvert repair/replace/minor road repairs 20
Water/Sewer main extensions 1000 or less, laterals and service line repairs 850-man hours. A minimum of 2 days per week is required by the city.
6. Selected Vendor will receive a Notification of Award from the City once award is approved and individual orders will be placed with Purchase Orders.
7. Purchases are subject to the Citys purchase order TERMS AND CONDITIONS, which are included in this Bid package.
8. The City reserves the right to award the bid by individual chemical, by location of delivery, by overall lowest bidder or to reject all bids.
DETAIL SPECIFICATIONS:
The work required on as an as needed basis would include:
* Water and sewer taps
* Water and sewer main extensions 1000 or less, laterals and service line repairs
* Manhole repairs
* Ditch Repairs
* Culvert replace/repair/minor road repair
The bidder will work under the direction/supervision of the Operator in Responsible Charge for the City of McEwen.
The City would be able to provide to the bidder the following equipment:
* 2 (two) single axle dump trucks
* Case backhoe
* Air compressor
* Underground boring equipment
* Road saws
* Gravel
* Hot/Cold mix
Incidentals materials and supplies will be provided by the City of McEwen.
Other requirements:
1. Prices shall be guaranteed for entire period of bid from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2025. No increases will be allowed. These include, but are not limited to, fluctuation in chemical prices, delivery fees, fuel surcharges, etc.
2. The bidder would supply equipment as needed to include a Mini-Excavator and Skid Steer.
3. The bidder would supply two persons for the work unless more staff is required. Publication Dates: April 20 and 27, 2022.
