Renovation of a water / sewer project in Riverton, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work shall be completed within 120 calendar days from the date of acceptance of the Award of Purchase Order. If the work is not completed within the specified time frame, the bidder herein agrees to accept liquidated damages in the amount of $50 per day. An Award of Contract, if it were awarded, will be made within 60 calendar days of the opening of bids. Provide and install acoustical improvements within existing rooms at the Jordan Valley Water Treatment Plant 15305 South 3200 West, Herriman Utah. The improvements are desired to mitigate noise emitted by the blowers to the water quality laboratory located above the blower room. Improvements include: o Blower Room- Acoustical foam treatments for the lower walls and upper walls, replacement of the existing door with an acoustically rated double door assembly, installation of a new suspended ceiling, and other improvements as shown on the plans. o North adjacent room- Acoustic pipe insulation as shown on the plans. o Silencer Room- Acoustic pipe insulation around the existing silencer, installation of a new suspended ceiling, and other improvements as shown on the plans. Supply Closet-replace existing door with an acoustically rated assembly, and other improvements as shown on the plans.
