Renovation of a municipal facility in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is intended to establish a list of pre-qualified general contractors who are eligible to submit competitive bids for the scope of work required for the construction of the new Pharmacy renovation taking place within The Summit at Quadra Village site. The Summit pharmacy renovation will see concurrent construction of 2 separated pharmacy spaces inside the Summit building. Room # TS1530 will be built to facilitate a pharmacy compounding space and room TS1655 will be renovated into a dispensing space. The scope of the new construction will include, but not be limited to, the following work: Installation of an exterior concrete pad for a C-can including power Minimal Demolition of existing rooms from current state; Renovation of two existing spaces (53 M2 total area) Tie-ins and alterations to existing plumbing, electrical (including card access), life safety systems, HVAC, and structural components including coordination of shutdowns with owner. Installation of proprietary wall shelving systems (owner supplied) Facilitation of relocated pharmacy equipment (owner supplied) The Pharmacy project will occur adjacent to facility corridors that will continue to provide services during construction. The successful candidate will work with our environmental consultant to implement hoarding and dust control procedures.
