Reference number : 1596086 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-05-02 Submission sent electronically accepted: Nope PURPOSE OF THE CONTRACT This tender is for the pumping, conditioning with or without dehydration, transport and disposal of sludge from ponds 1 and 3, the wastewater treatment plant of the Municipality of SAINTE-EMELIE- ENERGY. NATURE OF WORK The successful bidder must provide all labour, service, material, machinery, energy and chemical products necessary for the complete completion of the following work: For liquid upgrading, racking, packaging, transportation and disposal of sludge before October 2022: o Withdrawal of sludge from ponds 1 and 3; o Conditioning without sludge dewatering; o Transport and disposal of sludge. For passive dehydration, withdrawal and packaging of all extractable sludge before October 2022, then transport and disposal of sludge before October 2023: o Withdrawal of all extractable sludge from ponds 1 and 3; o Conditioning with passive sludge dehydration; o Transport and disposal of sludge. For passive dewatering, all of the extractable sludge must be drawn off and dewatered in the drying bed, which has the following dimensions: length of 84 feet, width of 28 feet and depth of 4 feet. The place of disposal of the sludge is left to the choice of the contractor. However, the agricultural recovery of sludge should be preferred if the characterization allows it.
