Site work and paving for a civil project in Saint-Remi, Quebec. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Upgrades, repairs and improvement to the main City street Notre-Dame. The scope of the project includes the complete repair of municipal services aimed at the separation of a section of a combined sewer with the construction of a new storm water network, burying of public service equipment, repairs of the roadway including the urban redevelopment of Route 209 over an approximate length of 1.5 km. TIMELINE: The project implementation was postponed and completely restructured by the City and the Ministry of Transport due to significant budgetary and technical constraints. The owner is currently conducting mandatory technical studies and redeveloping a new revised scope of work. The revised project abandons the idea of a single, large construction site in favor of a phased approach. Once the City and its partners have approved the final project scope, an official schedule including the dates for the first phase will be made public. Further update in late 2026.
