Site work for a road / highway in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Tender includes road and bank stabilization works as per the attached Geotechnical Drawings for four (4) locations along Hope River Road on the Hope Slough, and six (6) locations on Camp River Road along the Camp Slough. The bidder will include costs for all work as inferred by the drawings, including but not limited to, soil removal and disposal, rip-rap installation, soil placement on top of rip rap, road subgrade and paving, shouldering, erosion and sediment control measures, and restoration works. The work will not include planting or revegetation as shown in the drawings, except for seeding the topsoil with coastal reclamation mix and covering with hay. The successful bidder will work with and according to the recommendations made by the City’s Geotechnical Engineer and Environmental Consultant to comply with the terms given in the Environmental Permits. A turbidity blanket will be provided by the City for works within or near water to limit sediment discharge, and will be returned upon completion of the project.
