The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: 3440 feet of 18" HDPE Sanitary Force Main Installed by Open Cut 755 feet of 18" HDPE Sanitary Force Main Installed by HDD Including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. Drawings and specifications are available portal or at the Grand Rapids office of Prein&Newhof after Monday, April 18, 2022. Electronic drawings, specifications and bidding documents will be accessible/available only to those Bidders who are active members of the Prein&Newhof Plan Room. Bidder assumes sole risk for any project specifications and drawings, electronic or hard copy, obtained other than directly from Prein&Newhof. The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for by the City of Hart and The Michigan Economic Development Corporation in cooperation with the Community Development Block Grant program. Conditions of employment shall be in accordance with the requirements of federal prevailing wage rates, Segregated Facility, Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, Section 109 and Equal Opportunity. Prevailing wage rates apply to this project. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to City of Hart in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of ninety (90) days after the receipt of bids. The Work will be substantially complete by Friday, March 31, 2023. The project shall be complete and ready for final payment by Friday, June 2, 2023. See agreement and progress clause regarding additional milestones.
