Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to May 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Assistance is needed with Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) design services for the I-41 (STH 96 - CTH F) majors project. Provide ITS design services for the 23 mile I-41 (STH 96 - CTH F) modernization project working with WisDOT in-house segment design teams, consultant segment design teams, and corridor continuity team. Services are expected to include the following: -Assist the department in identifying corridor-wide ITS needs. -Corridor wide design of ITS sufficient to include within DT1078 utility plan submittals. -Coordinate ITS design with segment and corridor continuity teams. -Participate in corridor wide and design segment I-41 Project meetings as needed. -Provide regular ITS cost estimate updates The contract price will be based on the selected consultant's actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). ; Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract. Consultants selected will be required to either submit or have on file with WisDOT a Consultant Financial Report prior to contract execution. Advertised Fixed Fee % : 7.25 Fixed Fee Notification : The fixed fee for this contract will apply an indirect cost factor of 150% to the consultant's estimated direct labor, regardless of the consultant's actual indirect rate. The Department will negotiate 1 one-year contract with the option for 2 one-year renewals.
