The City of Ladysmith will accept sealed bids to rehabilitate the tenths / pickleball courts in Memorial Park Ladysmith Wisconsin. To demonstrate qualification for the project, each bidder shall be prepared to submit, within 14 days of Owner's request, written evidence that bidder involved (1) maintains a permanent place of business; (2) has adequate equipment to do work properly and expeditiously; (3) has suitable financial status to meet obligations incident to the work including credit references;(4) has a satisfactory experience record with work of this type and scope; and, if requested by the Owner, can provide five references for projects. A certificate of insurance shall be provided to the City of Ladysmith by the winning bidder for not less than $1,000,000 per accident. Property damaged during rehabilitation shall be bidders responsibility to correct to preconstruction condition. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids; to waive any and all informalities; and to disregard all nonconforming or conditional bids or counter- proposals. Court Improvements: (Court location 112 Everett Ave) The bid proposal shall include the total cost to: o Power wash entire court surface. o Remove all loose paint and debris from court surface. o Remove and replace net posts with new posts per new court layout. Tennis court shall have tiedowns to match pickle ball net height. o Furnish and install new pickleball nets and one tennis court net. o Fill and tape all surface cracks o Application of two coats of acrylic re-surfacer, sand and level courts. o Application of color coat with sand (minimum of 16 standard colors to choose from) o Court to be striped per United States Tennis Court Association (USTCA) The City of Ladysmith reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the City.
