Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Ladysmith is requesting proposals for Professional Engineering Services for the design of approximately 7 blocks of city streets. Streets will have full utilities replacement (water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer) full curb and gutter, and sidewalk replacement, to include elevation alterations to improve storm water drainage. All streets will require full replacement of asphalt surface. The consultant will be required to review the streets and conduct a thorough inspection of each street to identify deficiencies and defects. All available City records and televising will be made available to the engineer. The successful engineering consultant shall have the plans approved and bid ready for 2023 CDBG application submittal deadline. Engineering Services will be based on previous experience, ability, and completion date. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the City. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
