Site work for a water / sewer project in North Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The North Charleston Sewer District is accepting Bids from qualified licensed firms to install additional fiber cables within our facilities at our Felix C. Davis Wastewater Treatment Plant. The selected firm will be responsible for installing a 12-strand fiber cable in the locations shown on the location map. The cable will need to be terminated at twelve (12) new boxes through the plant as shown on the map. North Charleston Sewer District reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The North Charleston Sewer District is seeking to install additional fiber cables within our facilities at our Felix C. Davis Wastewater Treatment Plant. The contractor will be responsible for installing a 12-strand fiber cable in the locations shown on the location map. The cable will need to be terminated at twelve (12) new boxes through the plant as shown on the map. These locations are also shown in the appendices via photos The specifications for the fiber cable are as follows: 62.5-micron core/125-micron cladding Maximum allowable signal loss = 1 dB/km at a wavelength of 1300 nm Maximum allowable signal loss = 3.5 dB/km at a wavelength of 850 nm. Cable shall be plenum jacketed All cable termination shall be “LC” terminations
