Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ixonia, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
For this project, the Town of Ixonia will ONLY be receiving and accepting bids for the 2022 Town Paving Program via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN.com. Electronic bids will be accepted until 2:30 P.M., Thursday, May 5, 2022. After the official Bid closing time, the electronic Bids will be opened, reviewed and displayed (if accepted). To access the electronic bid form, download the project documents and click the online bidding button at the top of advertisement. The electronic bid form will be available for completion beginning April 28, 2022. All blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days from the date of the bid opening. \ Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Owner in an amount of 5 percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 15 days after the Award, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to Owner as liquidated damages. \ Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and the right to accept the Bid or Bids which best serve the interests of the Owner. \ Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price. Prime Contractor(s) shall furnish listing of all subcontractors and suppliers performing labor and supplying materials under the Contract that individually have a total value of $1,000 or more. Failure to list subcontractors or suppliers may be cause for rejection of the Bid. \ Owner reserves the right to postpone the award of the Contract for a period not exceeding 45 days from the date of bid opening.
