Renovation of a mixed-use development in Cedar Park, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and municipal facility.
Replacement of the Police and Municipal Court HVAC system Replacement of the Police and Municipal Court Roof The Work shall include furnishing all tools, labor, materials, equipment, and miscellaneous items necessary for the complete construction of the following: o Roofing work generally includes removal and disposal of existing roof membrane, membrane flashings, and sheet metal flashings from designated roof areas, mechanically fastening one layer of 2.5" polyisocyanurate insulation board to existing steel deck, adhering one layer of 2" polyisocyanurate insulation board to 2.5" layer in adhesive ribbons, installing one layer of 1/2 " gypsum roof coverboard to 2" layer in adhesive ribbons, and installing new full coverage adhesion fully adhered 80-mil PVC roof system. Roof system shall meet UL Class A, comply with City of Cedar Park, Texas, applicable current building codes, and qualify for roof membrane manufacturer's 20 year no dollar limit roof system guarantee. o Mechanical and Electrical work generally includes replacing rooftop units RTU-1, RTU-2, RTU3, and RTU-5. Refer to Mechanical and Electrical Drawings and specifications for Scope of Work. o Phased Work: In the event the roofing scope of work is delayed due to material shortage/supply chain issues, and the Mechanical and Electrical Work is ready to proceed, Contractor shall install roof membrane and flashings associated with the Mechanical and Electrical Work such that the membrane and flashings will be compatible with the new roofing materials and shall be incorporated into the 20-Year No Dollar Limit Guaranteed Roof System.
