Phipps Conservatory is accepting bids for the replacement/upgrade of the condensing units, cooling coil, refrigerant piping, and controls associated with the existing modular air handler serving the Special Events Hall. The project is "The Special Events Hall" and includes replacement of the two existing condensing units, direct expansion cooling coil module, and interconnecting refrigerant piping with a single new air source heat pump, direct expansion cooling/heating coil module, and interconnecting refrigerant piping. The existing air handling unit's other modules, and associated variable air volume boxes will be serviced, refurbished, and rebalanced. The existing controls associated with the air handling unit will be upgraded as required to accomplish the desired sequence of operation. New power as required will be extended to new components.
