The Project consists of constructing the following: The project includes but is not limited to: Installation of approximately 21,500 LF of 16" PVC force main, approximately 2,000 LF of which must be directionally drilled; 18 combination air valve structures; 120 LF of 30" steel casing (open cut), 300 LF steel casing (Jack and Bore); asphalt road and gravel drive restoration; granular and flowable backfill; connection of new 16" force main to headworks at WWTP which involves relocation of an electrical panel, erosion control; final grading and seeding; traffic control; and all other work required for the complete installation. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Newburgh Town Hall, Council Chambers located at 23 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, IN 47630. The pre-bid meeting will also be available via remote/virtual meeting option via Microsoft Teams. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any bid, or all bids, or to accept any bid or bids, or to make such combination of bids as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalities in bidding. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. NO bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least 60 days. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
