Renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility in Pacific Junction, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility.
As of June 21 the project was awarded to Greenfield Contractors for $6,924.91. This expedites the process and reduces errors for both buyer and supplier. The Iowa DOT is seeking competitive bids from qualified contractors to remove and replace existing fabric doors on the wooden salt shed at the Pacific Junction DOT Maintenance garage as defined in the scope of work for this solicitation. Work to be performed during regular working hours and days 7:00 - 3:30 M - F, at the Pacific Junction DOT Maintenance facility. All measurements must be field verified prior to ordering any materials. Estimated project period is to begin July 1, 2022 with completion by August 1, 2022, or as determined by the Project Manager at the pre-construction meeting. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. The Iowa DOT is a tax exempt facility.
