Tenders must be accompanied by a certified check equivalent to 10% of the tender, made out to the owner, Center de services scolaire des Découvreurs, or a tender bond established in the same amount, valid for a period forty - five (45) days from the date of opening of tenders. This bid security must be exchanged at the signing of the contract for a performance security in the form of a certified cheque, bond or bank draft, for a value of 20% of the contract price. Only bids from contractors having an establishment in Quebec or, when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable in Quebec, or in a province or territory covered by this agreement, and holding, where applicable, will be considered for the purposes of awarding the contract , the license required under the Building Act (RSQ, cB-1.1). The owner does not undertake to accept any of the submissions received.
