Major items of work include milling and resurfacing, ADA improvements, drainage improvements, highway signing, and pavement markings. Reconstruction of the westbound right turn lane will take place at Richard Jackson Blvd. Construction will also include new sidewalk along the south side of SR 392A and mast arms will be installed at Panama City Beach Fire and Rescue Department and Clarence Street as part of signalization improvements. Utility Work by Highway Contractor for adjustments to sanitary sewer manholes will be paid for under FPID 217986-2-52-02 For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects.
