Contractor shall perform all work necessary to complete the agreement in a manner satisfactory to the Public Works Director or his/her designee. The work to be done under these specifications shall include the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment, tools, disposal site or disposal transfer station expense and any other incidental expense necessary to perform Janitorial Services for the City of Hermosa Beach. The areas to be maintained shall include City Hall, Police Department, Police Motor Office, Police Substation, Community Services Building, Clark Building, Community Center, City Yard, South Park School, Park Restrooms, and Lawn Bowling Green Field. The duration of the contract is four (4) years from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2026. The successful proposer should be prepared with both equipment and man-power to commence July 1, 2022. Each Proposer shall possess a valid State of California Contractors License issued by the California State License Board. The successful Contractor must also possess a current City business license. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposal and to waive any informality or irregularity in any proposal received and to be the sole judge of the merits of the respective proposals received. The award, if made, will be made to the most qualified proposer. Plans and Specifications will be available for review at City Hall.
