**As of July 18, 2022 this project has not been awarded and may be rebid in the future.** Newport Utilities is accepting proposals for a construction contractor to assist in the installation of Fiber Optic Infrastructure including but not limited to aerial and underground fiber optic subscriber drops as indicated on each work order. Construction may include, but is not limited to, aerial attachment to existing electric poles (electric space and/or communications space), underground plow, trench, or boring. Newport Utilities is an EEO entity and as such requires the following: If applicable, this contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR Sections 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
