The contractor shall provide, in a good workmanlike manner, the services called for and described herein which consists of all supervision, equipment, labor, and all other items necessary to provide the City with complete refuse and green waste collection, removal and disposal and to complete said work in accordance with the provision. The City of Kennesaw has approximately 10,385 solid waste accounts consisting of residential and small commercial businesses. Technical questions should be addressed to Ricky Stewart at rstewart@kennesaw-ga.gov. Deadline for questions will be May 17th at 5:00 p.m. No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check or acceptable proposal bond in an amount not less than 5% of the bid made payable to the City of Kennesaw. The successful contractor will be required to furnish a performance bond as security for the faithful performance of this Contract. The successful proposer must submit an executed Contract and Certificate of Insurance before a Notice to Commencement can be issued. The City of Kennesaw reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities and to re-advertise. The City of Kennesaw also reserves the right to reject proposals, which are non-confirming, or to reopen the proposal if all proposals are in excess of funds available for the project.
