The bidder proposes to furnish all the labor, supervision, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to do all the work required. The Contract Documents, consisting of the Advertisement for Bidder, Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Bid Bond, Form of Contract, Form of Performance Bond, Form of Labor and Material Payment Bond, General Specifications, Special Conditions, Drawings, Specifications and Addenda may be obtained or examined . Each Bid must be accompanied by either a Certified Check or acceptable Bid Bond in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price and be made payable to the Islip Resource Recovery Agency as assurance that the Contract will be executed, if awarded to such Bidder. All bidders must submit in a separate sealed envelope with their bids, an acceptable Approved Apprentice Program or their bid will be disqualified. The Agency reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in whole or in part, to waive any informality in any or all Bids and to accept the Bid or part thereof which it deems most favorable to the Agency. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of forty (45) days after being publicly opened and read. In the event the Bids are rejected or no Bids are received, the Agency Secretary is authorized to re-advertise for Bids upon direction of the President. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirement as to conditions of employment to be observed, the minimum wage rates to be paid for under the contract and all applicable local and State laws.
