Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Holbrook, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project will construct an 11-mile-long path that runs parallel to CR 97, Nicolls Road, incorporating the LIPA/PSEG trail through a right-of-way land lease agreement, and will include pedestrian and bicycle facilities from CR 19, Patchogue-Holbrook Road at Greenbelt Parkway to the Setauket Greenway trail. Signal, drainage, and ADA upgrades will be included as needed along the path. The project is included in the Suffolk County's 2025-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of August 23, 2024, Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed.
