Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Islip, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project includes two phases. The first phase improves the intersection of CR 80, Montauk Highway, and CR 31, Old Riverhead Road, in Westhampton to increase turning radii, enhance traffic signaling, and modify pavement markings. The second phase improves CR 80 at Seatuck Creek to include ADA compliant sidewalks, repairs to the culvert and parapet wall, and the addition of a memorial park. As of August 20, 2024, this project is included in the Suffolk County's FY 2025-2027 CIP. Information regarding a design team and the contractor selection has not been disclosed.
