In the event bids are rejected or no bids received, the Purchasing Department is authorized to re-advertise for bids. Blydenburgh Road Landfill Submersible Pump(s) Service and Repair # 823-115 Description: It is the intent of this bid to obtain labor rates and % off parts for the service and repair of the Blydenburgh Road Landfill Submersible Pumps 1. Vehicle Glass Replacement # 823-02 Description: It is the intent that the successful vendor shall provide all glass, labor and services necessary to perform the work required. The Town of Islip owns and operates a Phase I and II Construction and Demolition Cleanfiil Landfill off Blydenburgh Road in Hauppauge. As part of the operations, the Town pumps leachate into storage lagoons from the landfill with two (2) primary and two (2) secondary 150 gpm - 7 % Hp leachate pumps. At times., these pumps need service and repairs. Hourly rates will be for, but not limited to, the primary and secondary pumps
