Renovation of a municipal facility in Islip, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bid bond in the amount of not less than ten percent 10% of the bid and made payable to the Town of Islip The Town Board reserves the right to reject any all bids in whole or part to waive any informality in any or all bids and to accept the bid or part thereof which it deems most favorable to the town. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of forty five 45 days after being publicly opened and read. In the event bids are rejected or at least two bids are not received, the department of purchasing is fully authorized to re-advertise for bids.
