Site work and paving for a road / highway in Trinway, Ohio. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment and tools necessary to complete the asphalt paving complete in place on roadway acceptable to the township trustees and County Engineer. All materials shall meet current O.D.O.T. Specifications and shall come from a source certified by O.D.O.T. All equipment shall meet current O.D.O.T. Specifications. The contractor shall clean and otherwise prepare the surface for paving. Bridge treatments shall be directed by the County Engineer in order to provide a smooth road surface. Asphalt placed on bridges shall be authorized by the County Engineer priorto the commencement of paving activities. The contractor shall place a buttjoint across the entire width of the roadway as directed by the township trustees toprovide a level transition from new asphalt to existing pavement. Contractor shallapply liquid asphalt and seal edges of new to existing pavement at beginning and end of overlay and intersections, including buttjoints. Asphalt paving of Speaze Road, Scenic Hill Road, and Maple Craft Road. Each bidder is required to furnish with its bid, a Bid Guaranty in accordance with section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. The Cass Township Board of Trustees, Muskingum County, Ohio reserves the right to waive any and all irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
