Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Leadville, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
As of May 1, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Construction work includes demolition, drainage installation, placement of aggregate base course, asphalt paving, pavement markings, shoulder grading, taxiway reflectors, seeding and erosion control. A bid guaranty made payable to the Lake County, Colorado in the form of either a certified or cashiers check or in the form of a bid bond for no less than 5% of the total bid is required with each bid. The successful bidder shall execute a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (DBE): Title 49 CFR Part 26, Participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in Department of Transportation Programs, applies to this contract. The Owner has set a DBE participation goal of 2.45% of the dollar value of this contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities, technicalities or omissions therein. See Instructions to Bidders for further reservations or rights.
