Renovation of a development in Mount Vernon, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a development.
Provide all labor, material, and equipment to construct dike repairs including raising the dike, installing internal horizontal drainage layer, geosynthetic reinforcements, armoring, concrete flood walls, boat ramp, and dike surfacing. All at the Department's Skagit Wildlife Area Headquarters Unit, located at 21961 Wylie Rd, Mount Vernon, WA 98273, in Skagit County Engineer's Estimate: $3,900,000 The Owner will NOT answer questions received after 2:00 p.m. on October 20, 2022. All addenda issued are part of the bid documents. The Owner will not be responsible for any oral interpretations For information or technical questions regarding this project, email CAMP.Bids@dfw.wa.gov with the project title and project number in subject line. This email may also be used to request copies of the projects posted documents (Drawings, Specifications, Addenda) No pre-bid walkthrough is scheduled, Contractors are strongly encouraged to independently visit the site. Minority and Womens Business Enterprises (MWBE) are encouraged to participate in the bidding as prime contractors, subcontractors, or suppliers Bid Bond: For bids of $35,000 or less, no bid guarantee is required. Bids greater than $35,000 shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond payable to the Treasurer of the State of Washington in an amount equal to at least five-percent of the bid as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the bidder will execute the Contract and give separate bond as required, see Section 00702.06. A. Base bids greater than $150,000; Contractor shall provide separate Payment and Performance Bonds, each executed by Contractor and Contractors Surety. B. Base bids $150,000 or less, Contractor shall provide separate Payment and Performance Bonds, each executed by Contractor and Contractors Surety, unless the Contractor agrees Owner may, in lieu of the bond(s), retain 10 percent of the Contract Sum for the period allowed by RCW 39.08.010.
