The City of Sioux City is auctioning two lots of 51-inch O.D. (Outside Diameter) one-inch thick (1-inch) steel casing pipe. One lot will be 260-feet and the other will be 270-feet of casing pipe. This pipe is 100% melted and manufactured in the United States of America. This casing pipe was purchased to case a 36-inch sanitary sewer pipe under an interstate project but due to a change in plans the pipe was not used. This pipe was manufactured in late 2017, delivered to the City in July of 2018, and is ready for use. The pipe includes certification. The pipe weighs 534 pounds per linear foot and there are thirteen 20-foot lengths with the first lot for auction. The second lot will have thirteen 20-foot lengths and one 10-foot length. This pipe is located at 3100 S. Lewis Blvd, Sioux City, Iowa, 51106. The City is auctioning these two lots of pipe on website. Please note that the buyers will have to make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including loading and transportation of the casing.
