Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Crandon, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
This bid posting is to secure a professional engineering firm (licensed in the State of Wisconsin) to review the existing wastewater treatment facility, collect field data, complete preliminary design, present proposed design to the Tribe and IHS, complete final design, assist Tribe with bidding, manage construction of improvements (including resident project representative), complete final/punchlist/start-up inspections and provide record drawings and O&M manuals. The proposed improvements to be designed/constructed include: (1) Replacing the existing fine screen in the WWTF, (2) Completion of repairs to existing concrete cracks for an underground UV chamber, (3) Evaluation, design, and implementation of method(s) to reduce effluent ammonia, (4) SCADA systems upgrades and integration of the new equipment into the network. The Tribe desires to complete the design and place out for construction bids in a reasonable timely fashion; it shall be noted that part of the requirements for submitting a proposal for this work, the bidder shall provide a schedule for their services to complete this work in its entirety. No pre-bid meeting will be held. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
