Town of Calhoun Falls (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the Water System Improvements FY 21 project. The Project includes the following summary and approximate quantities of Work: Base Bid: One (1) pressure reducing valve and vault, approximately 500 LF of 6-inch C900 PVC (DR 14) with two (2) fire hydrant assemblies, two (2) blowoff assemblies, 981 LF 3-inch PVC (SDR-21), and related appurtenances along Edgefield St., Bamberg St., Ellis St, and Berry St. Add Alternate 1: Approximately 1,022 LF of 6-inch C900 PVC (DR 14) with two (2) fire hydrant assemblies and related appurtenances along Sherard St. There is no pre-bid conference for this project. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates). This project is being funded by the State Revolving Fund (SRF) and bidders must comply with all applicable state and federal requirements identified in the bid documents. Prospective contractors shall follow the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts that requires all laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and subcontractors be paid wages at rates not less than those listed on the prevailing wage rate contained in the contract documents and that all applicable provisions of the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts be met. Bidders must comply with all applicable state and federal requirements identified in the bid documents regarding "American Iron and Steel" Provisions.
