Site work for a road / highway in Mission, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The basic scope of work for this project includes: 1. Providing overland sanitary bypass pumping as per the specified plan so that no service is lost to the system and its users. 2. Remove and replace two 150mm HDPE sanitary forcemains and one 50mm PVC sanitary forcemain between the limits of the failed asphalt. 3. Remove existing fill materials below the west side of the road and extend 1m into the east lane and dispose of material at a facility licensed/permitted to accept contaminated soil. See Metro Testing soils report for details. 4. Install membrane liner and perforated drain pipe below the free draining engineered fill to intercept water seepage. 5. Bench the subgrade fill in preparation of installation of lightweight fill. 6. Install and supply EPS lightweight foam for embankment fill. 7. Reinstate road structure and final paving for the entire road width. 8. Construct paved drainage swale on the east side of the road (to be field fitted on during construction). 9. Tree trimming and removal as per Central Valley Arborist Report. Documents can be obtained from https://bids.mission.ca/competitions/
