Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kentwood, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Work shall include pavement removal, sawcut or milled (vertical) edges, grading as necessary, aggregate base compaction, adjusting casting(s) to provide proper draina ge and ride, tacking (bond coat) of existing edges, and traffic control. Patches shall beminimum two lifts of 2 inches each of MDOT 13A or other approved mix. Patches shall match existing pavement depth where greater than 4 inches. All patches at the edge of pavement shall have rolled curb. At least one lane of traffic in each direction must be maintained; flagging will be allowed. Schedule: The anticipated notice of award for this RFB is Wednesday, May 18, 2022. The work under any contract executed as a result of this RFB shall be fully complete by Thursday, June 30, 2022. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, or to reject all bids, to waive any formalities, to make no purchase as a result of this RFB, and/or to award the purchase in any manner deemed to be in the best interests of the City.
