The City of Kentwood (the "City") issues this Request for Bids (RFB) to seek bids from qualified companies for the purchase of the following: Sewer Manhole Castings and Water Main All material must be available by May 22, 2023. Material suppliers will be required to coordinate delivery and/or storage of materials with the City's contractor (the "Contractor"). The project site is 52nd Street SE, Kentwood, Michigan. The reconstruction on 52nd Street is to take place between Kalamazoo Avenue and Breton Avenue. Award of this bid is anticipated at the July 19, 2022, City Commission meeting. Contractor award is anticipated at a spring 2023, City Commission meeting. Supplier shall provide manufacturer's warranty and/or Supplier's warranty to provide replacement or repair, at no charge to the City, for all defects in original materials and/or workmanship for not less than 1 year (for parts and labor) from the date on which the Products are accepted by the City; provided, however, that warranties thus provided shall cover Product failure resulting from reasonable wear and tear, but shall not cover damage from misuse or accident resulting from the use of the Products by the Contractor.
