Saving Project...

Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Columbia City, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a 56,000-square-foot detention facility.

The Commissioners of Whitley County, Indiana are requesting proposals for the services of a Construction Manager as Constructor in accordance with Indiana Code 5-32. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify those firms most capable of delivering the preconstruction and construction services required for the successful delivery of the new Whitley County Jail and Sheriff's Office (Project). The project includes a new 200-230 Bed Jail Facility, Support Spaces, Sheriff's Office and Court space. The Site has been selected and is a 14+ acre parcel of land off N. Opportunity Dr. just north of Precision Plastics. The Project scope will be approximately 56,000 sf facility with a total Project Budget of up to $34,000,000. Proposals shall be submitted to the Commissioners of Whitley County, to the attention of Chad Banks. Submittals shall be clearly identified with the respondent's name and the project title - Proposal for Construction Manager as Constructor for the Whitley County Jail Construction Project.
