Project No-11/3576/2021, 2021-71, 21337 Sealed bids from general contractors duly licensed pursuant to Louisianas Contractors Licensing Laws for the major classification of Building Construction are requested by Cameron Parish School Board for construction of: Grand Lake High School Miscellaneous Campus Repairs The deposit of all other set of documents will be refunded fifty percent (50%) upon return of documents as stated above. Electronic form may be obtained from the Project Architect upon a non-refundable $25 fee for this project. The successful Bidder will be allowed 210 calendar days to complete the Project from the date established in a Notice to Proceed. Liquidated Damages will be assessed at $250.00 for each consecutive calendar day for which work is not substantially completed beyond the date set as the completion date in the Notice to Proceed. Bid Documents may be reviewed at the office of VSG Architects, APALLC. Bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid and all additive alternates in the form of either a certified check or a bid bond. The Contract, if awarded, will be on the basis stated in the Instructions to Bidders. The Non-Collusion Affidavit, the Affidavit certifying compliance with La. R.S. 38:2212.10 regarding an employee verification system, the No Convictions Affidavit required by La. R.S. 38:2227, and other required affidavits/documentation as specified in the Bid Documents must be hand delivered by the apparent low bidder within 10 calendar days of the bid opening. No bid may be withdrawn from a period of forty five (45) days after the bid opening except as provided by law. Bidders must meet the requirements of the State of Louisiana Contractors Licensing laws, La. R.S. 37:2151, et seq. The Cameron Parish School Board reserves the right to award the project on whatever basis is in the interest of the Owner and to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities. The work located at the Grand Lake High School campus consists of replacement of damaged mechanical rooftop units, new baseball building, new softball building, new concession building, repair to bleacher covers at softball field, repair drainage on East side of high school wing, repair chain link fence in various locations throughout campus, new flag pole at baseball field, repair to elementary playground safety surface, new marquee sign at high school and elementary school entrances, interior repairs to old home economics building, flooring repairs at elementary school, rebuild walkway canopy between elementary and middle school classrooms, repair of conduit at emergency generator. 1. The Work includes all necessary labor and materials to complete the project as indicated in the Construction Documents. 2. The buildings will be occupied at the time of construction and care must be taken not to disturb normal operations. 3. Dimensions: Contractor is responsible to field verify dimensions and existing conditions. 4. Permits: Apply for, obtain, and pay for permits required to perform the work.
