The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following renovation work at UNMC's SLC L1 - CAHP Research Space: 1. The project is an interior renovation project to expand their biomechanical laboratory space located on Level One of the Student Life Center building on the UNMC campus. The scope of this project is the demolition and renovation of the existing biomechanical laboratory space, adjacent storage rooms, electrical room, locker rooms, corridors, office space, and conference room. 2. New work in this area will be the construction of a larger biomechanical laboratory, adjacent metabolic laboratory, conference room, storage, interview/changing rooms, and waiting area. 3. Electrically, the existing demolished electrical room will be relocated to a new location within the scope of this project. Lighting in the space will reuse existing newer fixtures where possible and supplemented with new equivalent fixtures in the design. Power will be redistributed in the space from the new electrical room. 4. Mechanically, the existing system will be serving the space through reconfigured duct layout and plumbing will be modified as needed for the new sink locations. 5.
