Turf area consists of the following parks: West End Park A & B, Greenway behind Kroger, Kereiakes Park, Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Weldon Peete Park Trails, Grounds@ Heartland, James R. Hines-Boatlanding Park, Covington Woods Park, Parker Bennett Community Center, and Hobson Grove Ballfield Parking & Greenway This bid is for a period of one calendar year. Once agreed upon and a Purchase Order issued, this agreement will be binding and cannot be changed. Mowing and weed eating will be inspected periodically by Parks personnel to assure work is to the City's expectation The City of Bowling Green, Kentucky is not responsible for the premature opening of, or the failure to open, a sealed bid not properly addressed or identified. Respondents are invited to be present for the opening of the bids submitted. This bid is offered by the Procurement Manager. Respondents shall carefully examine this bid and any addenda issued by the Procurement Manager and posted on the website. Failure to submit signed addenda in the bid submission will result in the rejection of the bid. Respondents shall seek clarification of any ambiguity, conflict, omission, or other error in this bid "in writing." Oral comments or communications do not form any part of this bid offering. Questions should be addressed to the Procurement Manager in writing by May 3, 2022. If the answer materially affects this procurement, the information will be issued in an addendum. Written communications should be addressed as follows: City of Bowling Green Procurement Manager's Office 1017 College Street Bowling Green, Kentucky 42101 OR purchasing@bgky.org A Bid Bond shall be submitted with your bid as required by KRS 45A.430. A cashier's check, or certified check, may be substituted for the Bid Bond. Also, an irrevocable letter of credit from a state or federally chartered bank may be substituted as a form of a Bid Bond. The Bid Bond, or substitution security, shall be in the amount of five (5) percent of the total bid cost. Upon contractual agreement, the successful Respondent must replace the Bid Bond with a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount no less than one hundred (100) percent of the total bid cost The City of Bowling Green, Kentucky reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, and to select that bid which it determines to be in its best interest. The award of this bid will be made on the basis of the Lowest Bid Price as permitted in KRS 45A.365
