Retrofit to the county's existing storm system to install storm manholes, storm pipe, a treatment vault, treatment catch basins, storm trench restoration work, curbs and sidewalk, traffic control, and other related work. It is anticipated that this project will be funded in part by the Washington State Department of Ecology. Neither the State of Washington nor any of its departments or employees are, or shall be, a party to any contract or any subcontract resulting from this solicitation for bids. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or proposal bond in an amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory contract bond, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to Clark County. The County reserves the right to waive informalities in the bidding, reject any or all bids, or cancel the bid if the best interests of Clark County are not served.
