Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Douglas, Arizona. Completed plans call for the construction of a 53,000-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
It is estimated the cost of construction for both components of the FRAP will range from $10,500,000 to $14,200,000. It is Cochise College's intent to complete a multi-component First Responders Academy Project (FRAP), which includes the renovation of a residence hall and new construction of the first responder's academy building on the Douglas Campus. The residence hall renovation accounts for approximately 23,000 square feet, including single and family style residence rooms, simulation rooms for the FRA, and related living spaces for laundry, study, etc. The new construction building is estimated to be 30,000 square feet and includes classroom, office space, and tactical/simulation spaces. All questions received will be answered at in a timely manner, or via written addendum Selection of the CMAR will be at the discretion of College and College reserves the right to reject any or all submittals.
