TENDER AND CONTRACT GUARANTEE The general contractor must include in his bid: A certified cheque, drawn from a Canadian chartered bank, a savings bank, a credit union doing business in Quebec and payable in the name of Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion or a bid bond issued by a insurance in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The bid security must be valid for ninety (90) days. A letter of intent issued by an insurance company confirming that if the contract is granted and accepted, it will issue in favor of the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion a performance bond and a bond for wages, materials and services, each for fifty percent (50%) of the business contract and/or the issuance of surety bonds in accordance with the examples attached to the tender document.
